Well at least one or two guys will need to go - assuming that one or more of Jensen makes this team. I hope Jensen and Vey are given shots. It may be a lot to ask for any of the kids to make the team (Shink etc.)

Even though we improved I still see us as a weak link with this current roster. We could be a player or two away from competing ,but not quite there yet.

Avs lost their best possession player and a very good center in Paul Stastny but added Iginla, I don't know if they got much better?

Anaheim lost a lot of depth but they did add a good defensive forward in Kesler, and they have a ton of kids looking for jobs, but are they that much better?

Dallas is definitely better, St Louis is definitely better, Minny???, Nucks are gonna be in tough this year but they'll compete for a spot.

Great signing with Vrbata, I think Van stole the best guy left and one of the better value players in the overall market with the small term. The money was there with nothing of importance left so IMO it wasn't wasted dollars.

I would kinda like to see Vancouver trade Hansen. That way..... Vey..... ya i did that...... and Horvat can compete throughout the season... Jensen to me is an instant roster spot. So ya trade Hansen for a second round pick and lets gets some young new blood in there!

Higgins should have a lot (relatively speaking) of value to the right teams. I think the Isles would be a good place to trade him - they need to be competitive next year and are in desperate need of players willing to go there

They were the antichrist before this signing I'm not even all that opposed to them but everyone on here has been female doging about them all summer! We get rid of 2 and get 2 back I thought everyone wanted them cleared out

no chance, there's too many other options out there from cap strapped teams where those two wouldn't be part of the conversation.

boychuk, dion, leddy/oduya, etc. Tanev's good, but Nelson had 14 goals as a rookie while being shuffled around the lineup and Strome made Martin and Mcdonald look like goal scorers in the last 1/4 of the season.

Nielson alone had 25 goals last season.
