Lately? Think about it... the dedicated fan's seat is replaced by the mindless fan once the game has sucked for a while. We were already at that stage for a couple of seasons. Now it's at the stage where they are not even that interested because it's not the hip place to be anymore.... next stage is something we havent seen since the 90's... whole empty sections.

Meh, i think this is the time the dedicated fan comes back out. Ticket prices become more reasonable again. |

Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski 1 h
John Scott signs with the San Jose Sharks, presumably to punch the other 17 skaters in the face if they blow another 3-0 lead.
Sorry if it's already been posted. |

It would have to be in a package. There's no way Lack gets us a top 6 scorer straight up. - AlexF
Yes of course... |

Leaf garbage. Way to go Garth. - Grumpy13
We now have 17 forwards, trade for Dman and possible top six winger coming. Hoping for Kane and Bogosian. |

If I'm a betting man I say Horvat makes the line-up out of camp.
Further to that, I like Booner's idea of trading Lack for a scoring forward. - Pacificgem
Get real man! Horvat actually regressed this year in junior. I doubt he would be a top 10 in this year's draft. |

Oh I'm very real
He played a ton of hockey over the past two years and got somewhat burnt out in my opinion. When I watch him play I like what I see, he's gonna surprise some people, including you obviously.
I'm not sure where you get the "regression" from? He had 74 points this year vs 61 last year. His playoffs weren't as dynamic as they were last year, but I'm not worried about that...he still had 11 points in 9 games before they lost to the Memorial Cup finalist. |

You'd have to trade a Strome or Brock Nelson if you're going down that road. |

Don't you think he might benefit from a year in Utica? He's only 19. |

It's junior or NHL for him due to his age. |

Well then he needs to go back to junior and score 50 goals. |

But...I don't understand...Mike Gillis said Horvat was who the scouting department wanted. He was "their guy." |

Its the Canucks or Junior if he's 19. No AHL... Europe not a road I think he's taking either.

We have an organizational infestation of centers with 3rd line skillsets... No room for him this year. |

he's not a 50 goal guy, he's a great two-way center with an offensive upside. Think 50 to 60 points as an NHL center. (future) |

Horvat should be 3lc let him play good teams have young guys contribute and they can't without ice time |

He can play the wing to help his transition into the league...if he shows up to camp and they're forced to keep him of course? |

Not sure I understand the question - but he's 6' tall 210 lbs...he's got a man's body size frame. |

Horvat will maybe get a pro look in the spring after his junior season finishes. Comets or Canucks... |

it could be strome. Nelson is apparently an untouchable. Obvious Strome + in a package. Nielson, Grabner, Bailey, could be picks and one or two of our defense prospects. Unsure how this is going to play out but at least this year Snow's trying to be active. we tried to sign dan boyle, iginla (offered 4 years) and vanek. |
