I don't see that line lasting long before being broken up, but that's just me.

Kassian Bonino Vrbata

May be an interesting line...

If Burr or Jensen can get it going with the Sedins, it could be an interesting year.

Should score 20 for you guys this year and then hit paydirt next year with someone else

Decent low risk deal and it's better than bringing Raymond back again.

Carlton the Bear brought more grit than Raymond. He gets knocked over by a swift fart.

Kassian on the LW is something I have yet to see so I can't really comment.

More public restroom TP than sandpaper, but I guess if you're comparing him to Raymond that's kinda true...

Someone has to play over there, maybe switch sides with Vrbata- guy is a vet and may have more experience over there?

I think the top 6 has the Sedins, Bonino and Vrbata with 2 possible openings. Maybe some would say Bonino is not a lock but I think it is his to lose.

So which two out of Kassian, Burrows, Jensen, Shinkaruk, Vey, Higgins ( ), etc... will be playing in the top 6?

He can fill in as a 2C as well. He even played some first line minutes last year and did quite well

I think this signing was made to shore up their elusive search for a number 1 center for Kessel.

The line up for this year is impossible to predict as it's a new coach with a new system. Apart from the Sedins being in the top, the rest is pretty much wide open. Desjardins will assess and draw his own conclusions and do what he likes. I really hope it takes a while for the team to adjust and as a result they lose a lot of games while learning the new system.

I'd personally go for Burrows (only if with the twins) and Kassian. If Burr isn't with the twins then Jensen. Shinkaruk should get a year in the AHL and I'm not sure if Vey has top 6 talent just yet.

A one-two punch of Bozak and Santorelli down the middle isn't fair for other teams.

Every GM here dangles an opportunity to play with the Sedins to entice FA wingers to put ink on paper.. I hope he doesnt pull a Jan Bulis and get pissed if that dont work out.

iirc, there were games last fall where Santo had better winning % of face-offs than Kesler. Would you want him as your #1? No. But he didn't look out of place on the second line.

Is Bonino a better option? I think so. Either way, line mates have everything to do with it.

I saw the , but just thought that Santo was a pleasant surprise for us last season but got hurt just after the team started struggling.

I thought he was an excellent utility player. More than I expected and I would have welcomed him back. There's a building log jam for that type of player here... good luck.

I don't know how many times we have heard this before. But you may be right.

Isn't this site all about predicting rumors?

Come on, predict something or do I have to go back in the threads and see it?

@botchford: Sir Bennington likes Vrbata-Sedin-Sedin, Burrows-Bonino-Kassian (I refuse to accept it could be Hansen as he suggested)

@botchford: BTW, everyone gets promised a spot to play with the twins, Bernier, Pyatt, Samuelsson, Demitra - It's the Canucks version of hazing

They lost Stoner and Moulson and added Vanek. They just need steady goaltending and they should be right there. Vanek might disappear in the playoffs, but he's proven to be a damn good regular season player.

Steady goaltending is far from a lock in Minnesota though.
