i play hockey with guys who would be better as a 13th forward. i'll just leave it there. - hammarby31
I doubt that seriously, but whatever. If they were as good, they'd be making 600K to play professionally. |

Odds you would have gotten Erhroff on that contract = zero.
Odds you would have gotten Boyle = very slim because he wanted to play in NY. He's also 38, coming off a terrible concussion, and is a PP specialist who needs to be sheltered like Streit.
Niskanen - Flyers would have had to outbid Washington, something like 7 years at $6 million, making the cap situation even tighter. - Feanor
Why would the Flyers have to outbid a team that didn't make the playoffs last year? |

I think he was arguing with MJL actually, but who really cares |

To make an overpriced contract even worse, and force another lockout? |

If Holmgren saw them, they would probably be making 2+ million, with no trade clauses. |

They might be better players who can't fight as well. |

I can only imagine you at home off of hockeybuzz.
PLind's Wife: Honey, they were out of burgers at the supermarket, so we are going to have to eat chicken tonight.
PLind: Jesus Christ. I bet that (frank)er Homer got the last couple and signed them to 8 year contracts.

Wife: Honey, do you want to go out tonight?
PLind: Go out tonight? Do you even understand how bad MacDonald's contract is? |

They had four whole points less than us, and TB apparently offered Niskanen more money. He obviously likes who he will be playing with in Washington. Why would you assume he would prefer Philadelphia for the same amount of money? |

i don't. some guys just don't make it. some guys do. logic isn't always involved. very little about the entire nhl is logical. plenty of guys never get past the A, and they're not making anywhere near 600k, and they're better hockey players than rosehill.
i'm done. not going to have an all day discussion about the merits of rosehill.

Rank these bands in order of best to worst:
Halestorm
Paramore
The Donnas - jmatchett383
I don't know who the Donnas are.
Hayley's voice is revolutionary.
Relax.
What I mean is ya know that stereotypical rock/punk angsty girl lead singer voice? You know what I'm talking about. She basically put that on the map. Her and Avril Lavigne. Hayley's voice is really good, actually. Can't say I'm a huge Paramore fan, but some of my friends like them, and I don't female dog when they put Paramore on. That's a huge compliment for me. The only bigger compliment that comes from me music wise is actually saying "This is good great etc"
Halestorm is horrendous. Awful sound...they're trying to be badass and angry like Breaking Benjamin, while trying so hard to be THAT band...the cool band with the girl lead singer....basically, theyre trying to make themselves out to be a mix of Breaking Benjamin and Heart, but they just sound stupid.
Also, someone I really really hate listens to them. Favorite band. So, naturally, Halestorm sucks. |
