we had 3 good dmen, and he was the best by virtue of being in better physical condition and his skating ability. the bottom 3 shouldn't have been out there at all. honestly i had better dmen than those guys by a mile on my own local team back east, but i couldn't get them to commit to the experience for several reasons.

so yes is the answer, but he would get into trouble by trying to do much sometimes. it's the nature of the beast when you feel like on your own. i'm guilty of that.

for example, my team last night...several unforced turnovers out of both corners and behind the net led to some point blank, bar down chances, some went in. some didn't. after awhile, i start to take matters into my own hands because i can't count on them to make a simple play, nor can i count on proper support in front of the net after they (frank) up. yet, i look like the bumhole.

no. the international games are every four years. it's not a guarantee hockey will return, and even it does, i still have to make the team. i'll be 4 years older...who knows what i'll have left, but i hope to have the opportunity. the whole shebang is very expensive too...that's another matter.
