I used to have that hope for Paille-Gaustad-Stafford
I guess we'll see
That could be really nice, but I wanna see some grit mixed in on our top2 lines as well - jdfitz77
Lemieux and Paille may very well have similar offensive careers. But I bet you Lemieux has more value to us than Paille.
Comparing Goose and Girgs is a sin.
Staff and Compher could very well compare but I think Compher is showing he has a much better two way game. |

All this taco talk, and not one post from TheSabresTaco? - LetsGoBuffalo75
I'm defrosting 2 pounds of meat as I type this.
Thanks guys.
chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper, oregano, paprika, plenty of cumin, salt, pepper, chipotle powder and a spoon full of some brand of mexican seasoning. It's bombtastic.

I hear ya
I'm just saying with high picks look for offensive upside
Late 2nd and 3rd is where I'm looking for grit & depth players though
If that makes sense? - jdfitz77
I do understand what you're saying. But I think the general consensus was that Lemieux could fill a 2nd 3rd line NHL role who could pot 20 a season and be a monster pain in the ass. Guy plays hard and plays 200'. That's why he was billed as a first round pick. The other guys, yeah, Murray could have drafted projected depth guys. But he preferred to draft boom or bust top sixers because we have so many depth guys already. I think that was a hugely smart play.
Add - I can see why you would prefer Barbashev because I was hoping for him as well. I would have taken Lemieux right after him if I had a choice. |

If anything that would be the team darcy built. Ultimately up to TM to build a winner out of the pieces that darcy collected. |

Yeah, the thing with him is that he is such a rare type of player. I know someone mentioned earlier that his intensity and ambition has always preceded his offensive abilities. I think once he hits his stride in the 24-25 range, you'll see him hit around 25/60 as a ceiling. Honestly the kid has the desire and under rated skill to outscore Stafford on his best years. I'll take that any day. |

I used to find myself always adding to the packaged stuff, especially McCormick's.
It's just bland in my opinion. Like a spoonful of peppery paprika. |

Disagree. Now may be the time. He over values his players, so maybe we can get OEL and/or Yandle cheap |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, July 3, 2014
GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed Darcy Regier to a multi-year contract to serve as the team’s Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are very pleased Darcy has decided to join us in Arizona,” said Maloney. “Darcy adds intelligence and experience to our management team. The wealth of knowledge he has garnered as a long time General Manager in the National Hockey League is invaluable to us. He is a great addition to our staff.”
Prior to joining the Coyotes, Regier spent 17 years as the General Manager for the Buffalo Sabres, which was the longest tenure of any GM in the franchise’s 44-year history. Under his guidance, the Sabres advanced to the Stanley Cup Final in 1999 and made four Eastern Conference Final appearances (1998, 1999, 2006 and 2007).
While with the Sabres, the 58-year-old Regier oversaw all aspects of Buffalo’s hockey operations, as well as the Rochester Americans, its AHL affiliate. Among the players Regier drafted as General Manager of the Sabres are Ryan Miller (1998), Derek Roy (2001), Jason Pominville (2001), Keith Ballard (2002), Thomas Vanek (2003), Drew Stafford (2004), Jhonas Enroth (2006), Tyler Ennis (2008), Tyler Myers (2008), Zack Kassian (2009), Mikhail Grigorenko (2012) and Zemgus Girgensons (2012).
Previously, the Swift Current, Saskatchewan native served in roles with the New York Islanders as director of hockey administration, assistant coach, and assistant general manager.
Regier was the fifth choice (77th overall) of the California Golden Seals in the 1976 Amateur Draft. He appeared in 26 NHL games over the course of three seasons with the Cleveland Barons and the New York Islanders, totaling two assists and 35 penalty minutes. - SentinelGoalie46
The Yotes should swing a trade for Ol Millsey!!!
It'd be pretty close to Cali for him... 1 hr flight from Phx to LA.
Vancouver would prob like Canadian Olympic net minder, Mike Smith, too.
Similar keepers, similar contracts. |

His is the AGM, I highly doubt he sets the values for current yote players, or has final say on who stays and who goes. |

The perfect time? Two days after Miller signed a contact with the nucks, which i would bet has a limited or full NMC.

At the deadline. miller won't like the intense scrutiny that comes with plating for a Canadian club. |
