I am a full season ticket holder and have season tickets in MTL (just to go to the Sens games) and I am dreading this season. I think there is going to be a lot of boring hockey and we are going to have more than a couple blowout losses.

i think, and this is just my opinion, is that they'll be a lot like the oilers. up tempo and exciting to watch, but probably don't win a lot of games.

This is a huge issue. It is not about a single transaction. How much anguish has Leaf nation gone through because we gave up on a young player or gave up a pick for short term gain? Every time you give up on young guys it makes it easier to do the next time. I remember Cliff Fletcher saying the draft is over rated, the future is now. How many years ago did he say that.

I am excited to see the young guys come into the line up.

Last year at this time some publications were predicting that the Sens would make it to the SCF because of their strong possession game and good young Dmen. Hardly close. I do not think the loss of Spezza will be anywhere near as damaging as some people think.

If a deal like that was done, it would also include us retaining. cap on any players we move to them.Saad,toews and kane need new deals next season, sacrifices will be made sooner or later

I think they are going to be pretty fun to watch. We have a young, hungry team with big forwards who are looking to stick at the top level. Our defense will bounce back and Anderson will return to form as he is in a contract year.

This team will surprise a lot of people.

I'm gonna wait until Murray finalizes his potential deals he is working on to fully judge. However, I don't think this team will be all the great, with that said, the East is a gong show, so anything could happen.

their D is gonna be real good this year. they added stralman and garrisson to play in their top 4...with hedman, carle, etc.
