I don't want Draisaitl in the NHL at all. Don't care if he impresses. Send him back. I disagree entirely with putting him in the NHL. If there are better options via UFA (i.e. Legwand) go for it. If not, I'd rather acquire berglund and play him up as 2C and Arco 3C at the risk of losing Petry.

EDM has 6 NHL Dmen for the first time in far too long. If they plan on not being a bottom feeder again, they should hold onto their best one. Send Schultz if you must. Marincin-Petry shouldn't be broken up

Maybe we should look at a team that might be unwilling/unable to get an RFA under contract. Just spitballing but what about a Brandon Sutter( Pitt),Lee (NYI), Sobotka (st.L)Ellers (MTL) or Brassard (NYR)? I'm sure these teams would prefer to get a deal done, but you never know.

Looking at the teams in real Cap pickles they seem to be short on Quality C's themselves.

Hardly. Eakins is a much a dip poop as anyone , but Yak is far from innocent, and more deserving of big minutes. Like I said a million times, it's 50/50, they both need to make changes.
