Your missing the point. STP were around before Nirvana made it big, but no way they would have been sh!t if not for the attention Nirvana ,PJ and Soundgarden brought to the scene. - Jeropotato
I'm not missing the point. The point I made was that those two bands brought grunge mainstream, which they did. |

Yeah, I just don't really did much of it anymore. Alot of was pretty juvenile and I just get into it anymore. And Bad Religion is just a really bad, boring, pretentious POS of a band that for some reason people think are amazing. When it comes to Punk Music, give me some Propagandhi or Turbonegro or just send me back to the 70's and 80's. - Jeropotato
90's punk was solid... stop being such a music snob, you're starting to sound like Cloutier.
My favorite 90's band is a tie between (Smashing Pumpkins and Soundgarden) in case any of you care. |

It sucks but I get it cause I was his age once too and the concepts of actually experiencing something vs. a subjective view, are hard to understand and I didn't even get that back then. He's a good kid so gotta bust his balls about it though. - ruttager17
ya I'm not disagreeing with you at all
think you just hit a bugaboo of his, might pride himself on his knowledge on the subject |

been here like a year n a half. Stopped for about a month n a half in maybe january or something.
sucked me right back in. Wish I was smart enough to stop loving the oilers - TheNugeIsHuge
I joined a long time ago and followed daily for years, got tired of the crazy trolls constantly being a pain in the ass before the refs appeared. Quit reading the comments for a long time. One day the black hole known as hockeybuzz pulled me back in and I hate myself again. I will say though, some of the posters here these days make it fun to read again and others still suck. |

King Buzzo could care less. Nirvana wanted to be the Melvins, as is evident on Bleach. Their influence is prevalent through the grunge and stoner/sludge that comes out today The Melvins still tour and put out records, and put on a really amazing show. They've merged with Big Business, and have two drummers during live shows. - Blackstrom2
Yeah, I'm fairly well acquainted with them, not sure why you through them in there all out of context is all. |

Wow...youre actually a bit of a know it all, vindictive Richard aren't you. You went to a lot of trouble to prove a point in a discussion you budded into like you were Jim Carrey's "Cable Guy".
Check out the bolded and either heed your own advice or mellow the fck out. Your choice, Cochise. - Jeropotato
You're right, I should just accept people talking out of their ass instead.
If you remember correctly which I'm sure you do he corrected something I said originally. |

Me n Jero joining in january last year really revitalized a dying kind. Brought life to where there was none. I'll give Jero the 15% credit where credit is due |

Nevermind became Nirvana's first number one album on January 11, 1992, replacing Michael Jackson at the top of the Billboard charts. By this time, Nevermind was selling approximately 300,000 copies a week.
Ten initially sold slowly upon its release, but by the second half of 1992 it became a breakthrough success, attaining an RIAA gold certification. - golfingsince[1] Almost a year after its release, the album finally broke into the top ten of the Billboard 200 album chart on May 30, 1992, reaching number eight. Ten would eventually peak at number two for four weeks.
So, as I said top of the charts before STP ever released an album under that name. Kindly GFY.
Please tell us again how you lived through it so you know better.
I never said you didn't say that but suggested that they were the reason for STP releasing their album and getting noticed. STP had been around just as long if not longer than both of them so it was inevitable they were writing material and was going to be released. Don't talk like they owe Nirvana and PJ a huge debt of gratitude and they also released 5 more albums after the first, which pretty much states that they were a solid band that was going to release music regardless of the other 2 bands. Please tell me how you copy n pasting from google, suggests your senile brain can even remember back that far??? |

The comments sections of blogs was just retarded a few years ago. People just trolling with dumb (frank) comments and others calling them bumholes, etc...No real hockey talk at all. Oh yeah and Ek was a mystery man, if you tried to figure out who he was or posted a pic of who he may be, you were banned lol |
