Agreed that things are more encouraging now than this time last year. Just have to keep the expectations realistic/low for the next couple of seasons.

I don't want the club to just squeak in but it will be difficult with the competition.

Would rather they miss the playoffs than just squeak in, but maybe that will change when the season starts and the team has had a few games against the California teams to gauge where they are at and if their new playing style surprises some opponents.

We just have to score!

If I remember correctly watching him in the prospects camp he looked good. From what I remember he started slow last year for Utica and got better as the season went on. Hopefully he will have another good year in the ahl and possibly a call up for an injury.

From Cumberland you can hit the trails in the village for awesome single track, some great downhill on Forbidden Plateau, nice flowy riding in Snowden Forest in Campbell River and some beautiful, scenic riding on Hornby Island, all no further than 1/2 drive from Cumberland.

yeah, a friend filmed a budget MTB film in cumberland when we were younger. I have heard the single track is great and would love to make my way over there. Been camping on Hornby island a few summers ago and it was awesome. Great beach. Hawaii North!

Really? I would have said 13/14. I think at each stage they have exceeded what would characterize a 'good' season. Even last year they were among league leaders until the wheels fell off.
