That being said, I'm pretty sure that ownership did direct Trevor and his group to spend to the cap again this year and to sign some big-name free agents. Linden and Benning have been consistent with their statements that they want the team to be able to make the playoffs, and I think ownership is making every effort to erase the dark memories of last season as quickly and emphatically as possible.
That being said, then the Aquilini's had best stay out of the day to day operations and shut their damn pie hole. |

I like the Tanev deal, very affordable and keeps him an RFA..... I think one trade target if we really want to make the playoffs would be Michael Grabner, he's only got 2 years left at 3 mil. I don't think he has a NTC, but I doubt Higgins, Markstrom and a 3rd gets it done though. It would be awesome to get him back to Van city
