I took a bit of an easy way out and predicted a Germany and Brasil final but it looks like that's not going to be possible. Hence, I'm thinkin' Germany and Netherlands (Brasil has simply not looked like 'Brasil' and not to mention they are dealing with injury concerns)

Yup. BRA will definitely be against it vs Germany without Neymar and Thiago Silva but if there was ever a time to rally around the flag and show your worth, this would be it in front of the home crowd.

These semi-final teams have 21 WC final appearances between them. Only Holland haven't won it all. This is a dream final in many ways and I think any combination of finalists will be a treat to watch.

I think the Neymar/Silva suspension were a tough blow (what a seemingly archaic system when it comes to yellow/red cards - they really need to take a look at that), but like you said, you just have to focus on coming together as a team and facing the adversity head on, embracing the challenge. And they also have the benefit of the 12th man which can give you that extra energy burst

I think it's going to be a great match-up and, as you said, at this point any combination of teams is going to be exciting.
