Why are people so eager to get rid of Myers? I think you keep him around and keep working with him, he improved a lot last season and could likely improve a bunch more this season.

That said, I genuinely hope RJ heals up quickly. Hopefully he can come back and call more games, but if not then I hope he's just healthy and happy.

Not much of Thursday or Friday (except the good parts). Stayed sober Saturday and went to Rochester Sunday for more good parts.

Myers for Weiss, Kindl, 2016 1st, Tatar, Ferraro

I don't like it much. First off we take a bad contract on an injury riddled player like Weiss, whom regardless of our cap situation, isn't worth it. Then we take on Kindl, a less than adequate replacement for Myers. We also get a 2016 1st instead of a more desirable 2015 first. Tatar, I don't have problems with acquiring at all. Then we finish it off with Ferraro, a guy who really hasn't raised an eyebrow with his play in the AHL yet. Overall, it's not the Nyquist++ deal we want so I'd reject it if I'm GMTM

I believe the quote from Murray was "We will see where we are at with him at the deadline and If we can move him for other assets, That is a bonus" If not we can move forward with him."
