I was gone most of the weekend . A wake on friday and funeral Sat morning . Then we went to Goosies beach house Great time and left Sunday . Ended up at woodlawn beach with my girls kids/grankids. I'm cooked

Just rumors. I'm sure gms call each other and bounce trade proposals off one another but usually these kind of rumors end up amounting to nothing.

Golfed and drank heavily on the 4th...did the same again on the 5th and Sunday was a day of rest

The thought of Risto playing with Weber makes me nervous but I bet the shelter Risto a bit so that means sheltering Weber as well. It could make Weber into a serviceable NHL D!

He has offensive talent, they did the smart thing last year by moving him to the wing so he could focus on scoring.

He was never very good in his own end to begin with but he spent too much time worrying about his defensive zone responsibilities. Him as a second line winger I can get behind!

Girgensons, Ennis, Reinhart (if he makes the team) are all centers ahead of him

You don't have a guy like Hodgson who has scoring abilities center a 3rd line. Ennis and Girgensons will be ahead of him on the depth chart at the center position.
