I'm serious!
Gene with his big microphone and him making fun of the contestants as the twirl in on the merry go round thing where they sit.
Richard Dawson and Chuck IForgetHisLastName and Brett IForgetHerLastName...hilarious duo up there on the top row.
There was one guy that would float in on the very first seat that was really funny. Can't remember who he was though |

CNR had some funny mannerisms, which Sid and Marty Krofft put to great use.

nashville has no reason to hop on vinny now. fisher's got 3 months to start healing before the season starts. he should be back by mid-season. - hammarby31
They may not have a reason to hop on Vinnie but achilles ruptures are a much longer haul than 6 months. Mezaros, Ryan Howard, Jason Peters(his was complicated by the collapse of the support cart with wheels he used for the operative leg and required 2nd surgery) None of those guys were themselves after surgery and 6 months. I dont care if you are young, an athlete and have the best care, he will be a shell of himself. If it cant be repaired by simple surgery and gets a s tendon transplant that will complicate the recovery as well

When they talked for three days, I was thinking that they might have been discussing a bigger trade than the rumored Lecavalier one, like maybe Weber. But the more I looked into it, the less sense it made. The Flyers would have to include either Couturier and/or B. Schenn plus one of Voracek or Simmonds and one of Streit, Luke Schenn, Grossmann, or Braydon Coburn. Nashville would include another player or two going back like possibly Victor Stlalberg or maybe even Mike Fisher or Gabriel Bourque. But I'm not ok with say for example: Couturier, Simmonds and Coburn for Shea Weber and Victor Stalberg. I think Couturier is going to be a superstar in a few years. He's a player the Flyers have to be patient with because he's the type of player that takes a few seasons to get into his prime and having his best seasons. He's 21. When he's 25, he'll be an All-Star. He reminds me of Anze Kopitar. Power forwards like Wayne Simmonds don't grow on trees either. I don't want him traded, pretty much no matter what. I think the most the Flyers could afford to offer would be Streit, Laughton, Brayden Schenn and two firsts for Weber, Stalberg a 2nd and 3rd. Nashville probably wouldn't go for that. Nashville does have the luxury of Seth Jones who looks fully capable of running a defense and being a number 1 defenseman already. Ryan Ellis and Roman Yosi are among the best young defenders in the game as well. They'd have a very good defense even if they did trade Weber. And I think if he ever does get traded, it'll be this year. Depending on how you look at it, it could happen, but it's a long shot. The Lecavalier trade is very possible now that Mike Fisher is out long term. Nashville was just playing hardball trying to get Philly to pay too much of Vinny's contract. Now that Hextall knows Nashville needs a center even more than they did when they originally talked last week; the Flyers could have the upper hand at the moment and reach a better agreement on the retained salary. But it is fun to speculate about Weber lol. Nashville should trade him. They can afford it thanks to their impressive young defense and it would make their team better if they got full value for him, and the Flyers do have the pieces to make it happen. - TonyBazz
One of Morin or Sanheim would also have to go in the deal for Weber. And I think calling Ryan Ellis one of the best young defenders in the game is overrating him. He's a decent young player, but nothing special in my view.
