As a team that has the needs that the Flyers have, Hextall would be incompetent if he didn't look into it.

It remains to be seen what direction Hextall has the team pointed in. He's been the team GM for a few months.

Samuel Morin believes in him. Flyers too.

What you're hoping for is that Vinny can use some of the negative feedback about his work last year as motivation. Not only don't the Flyers want him but no one else does either.

I'm not saying that Vinny is able to channel the negativity into positive results on the ice, but it would be a whole lot cooler if it did.
