13th forward at best for me, play him if you'e afraid the other team will take runs at your guys. The Kings still keep taking runs at the Sedins, you need toughness that can actually play more than 5 minutes so they'll actually be out on the ice and not put out after the fact to "send a message". If you have toughness that can actually play, you'll be the team that's actually taking runs at their top players and throwing their team off of their game and looking for a "moral victory" instead of 2 points. - Nucker101
My biggest problem with is his inability to keep up with the play, I take Archibald over him any day as a 13th even, at least Archie can get in on the fore check. As much as Dorsett is a 4th line pickup I am really excited to watch him hounding the puck, if our 4th is Matthias Richardson Dorsett as most are projecting I think we will have a very tenacious line. IMO the 4th doesn't need to be huge but needs to be able to play the body and attack the puck. Sestito flat out cannot skate well enough to get into the play. |

We once had Hodgson and Schroeder pencilled in as our future 1-2 center punch with Rodin riding shotgun as a winger in the top 6. Just saying that it's kinda pointless. - Nucker101
Agreed, but that's what people do, is speculate |

Don't be sorry. Your entitled to your opinion. His defensive game improved immensely over the last couple seasons. He is calm in his own zone. Doesn't make stupid plays and skates his lane. His turn over are always in the offensive zone as he is trying to make plays. He has vision, hands and speed to compete. Intimidation factor is a knock against him. He isn't an alpha player. Still a good player though. - thundachunk
The only thing that worries me about Jensen is his consistency. I think him leaving junior was a mistake as well. It was popular belief that he wasnt going to improve much with another season of junior but when he bolted for Europe, he wasnt exactly a consistent dominating player.

If Shinkaruk is actually ready then that looks pretty sexy. Definitely more goals than last year. Higgins and Hansen for more picks would also be nice. - Nucker101
Shink's skill would be a breath of fresh air for this team but I think he will be a call up at some point once he gets back into game shape. I hope Vey is signed to a 2way and starts in the AHL so we get to see Horvat for 9 games this fall. Only of course if he earns it. |

Yeah, ever since junior he's been called a streaky player. When he's cold, he's pretty much useless apparently as he's not an energy forward or the best defensively. But when he gets on a roll, he's definitely on fire. Those were the reports when he was 17, he's 21 now and still seems to be that way, must just be a confidence/frustration type of thing. |

He needs to find a coach who will have a serious influence on him. |

Vey is waiver-eligible, whole reason why LA moved him. |

From what I saw shift to shift it boils down to effort. He tried a little harder at the NHL level but was often overwhelmed with playing against better competition with lesser linemates. In the minors, he took shifts off.
If he can bring it every shift he can become a player we're all gonna love. |

I think if LA held on to V ey and sent him down he would have went on waivers. Vey will be on the big team |

So many injuries that it's really hard to say, they never had the same lineup for like more than 5 straight games. It was supposed to be Sestito-Richardson-Weise. Dalpe and Booth spent a decent amount of time on it.
I'll take Matthias-Richardson-Dorsett over that line for sure. |

I think we have enough for the bottom 6, unless it's an intriguing young player on waivers, I'd pass. |

Definite maybe. Depends on Kassians progress. I think he would be better suited with a shooter though |

Copy and paste from my post earlier:
Scott Brown @BrownieScott ·
Canucks first rounder Jared McCann: “I played lacrosse for a bit growing up and I loved cross-checking kids in the face, it was awesome."
Scott Brown @BrownieScott ·
More McCann: “I do like to piss guys off a bit. That’s fun.”
Combine this with Virtanen going in for high fives on the other team's bench after scoring a goal:
