I think we have enough for the bottom 6, unless it's an intriguing young player on waivers, I'd pass.
- Nucker101

I don't consider Higgins bottom 6 . Top 6 neither? Hansen last year no, the year before yes.

Definite maybe. Depends on Kassians progress. I think he would be better suited with a shooter though

I think Bonino and Kassian will have some nice chemistry, just a hunch based on their style of play.

We need 3 top 6 players, including the guys that will step up this year.

It's not the bottom of the lineup that's the problem, it's the fact that they're interchangeable with our 2nd line.

You won't get a waiver player that will be better on the third line than them.

I would rather
Burrows Vey Jensen as a third line

That's assuming Shinkaruk is ready and is given a spot on the team. Far from a guarantee.

I still personally prefer a 4th line that can actually play 10 mins a night instead of a goon squad. That's why I don't even want Sestito on the roster.

The top line was a huge problem last year but don't kid your self all the four lines sucked last year . You can't ignore the bottom 6

Our bottom 6 sucked because they were playing in the top 6.

Copy and paste from my post earlier:

Scott Brown @BrownieScott ·
Canucks first rounder Jared McCann: “I played lacrosse for a bit growing up and I loved cross-checking kids in the face, it was awesome."

Scott Brown @BrownieScott ·
More McCann: “I do like to piss guys off a bit. That’s fun.”

Combine this with Virtanen going in for high fives on the other team's bench after scoring a goal:

Nice moves and goal by Chase after Virtanen fed him the puck.

Hansen Tanev Lack could be a nice start to get a top 6 player

You wanna move Tanev? We already lack quality young defenders as is. Rather keep him and wait for our forward prospects to develop.

Nice wrist shot.

It reminds me of Sakic-lite... same sort of quick release, deadly accuracy, and packs a punch

According to his GM, he misses the net on quite a few shots as well. Our next Kesler.

COrrado . Tanev is good but he is still a good trade chip. If you can round out your top 6 for the next 4 years then yes you move him.

Same as at the draft using three parts to get the first overall

That's basically my 3rd line...

Sedin Sedin Kassian
Shink Bonino Vrbata
Burrows Vey Jensen
Matthias Richardson Dorsett

Trade Hansen & Higgins

- DrChristianTroy

I think we went over this a week ago but yes this its he line up that I hope gets played. I have a soft spot for Higgins due to his work ethic and team play. Solid Depth player but something has to give.

Corrado would be our only one, Hutton and the Russian are still not even AHL-tested yet(outside of them there's next to nothing). Corrado wasn't exactly lights out in the AHL, he's not as good as Tanev IMO but its still too early to tell. I'm not sure how I feel about trading our best young d-men. Look at what UFA d-men got this year.

I'm predicting it. Doesn't get more "guaranteed" than that.

Rather keep both. Boston probably doesn't do a deal without Tanev. Again, I think it's just best to keep him if you look at our prospect pool.
