IMO if he isn't on the 3rd line, he's not playing.
You know i like him though. - dadeadhead
move ott to the lw
ott, girgens, flynn
dump foligno to 4th line?
flynn is a much better all around player then foligno IMO, and can be a beast on pk

I have a hunch that kid is going to score more goals than Kane ever would.
Anyone in Rochester other than Armia, Risto, or Grigorenko (barring any other names I just can't think of, but I think these are the only 3) - stashu
I'd dump Gringo for Kane |

There has to be a main piece bigger than CoHo IMO.
It's like saying Tomas Tatar and a few picks for Myers.... I don't think that would fly.
IMO it would have to be CoHo+ someone like Armia or Pysyk + a token 2nd - sbroads24
You're trading a .57 points per game player for a .62 points per game player.
You are really over valuing that .05 points per game aren't you? I mean they are both - players. Maybe BEcasue Ek shoots Left?
Another example of Hockey Buzzards undervaluing the talent on this roster and overvaluing a guy on another... |

Yeah, of the 3 I'd give him more easily, but I also don't really want Kane either, so I'd prefer to keep Grigorenko as a Sabre |

I have high hopes for him too, but that's my point. I was drawing the comparison between our ask for Myers and the Jets ask for Kane. Most here wouldn't even entertain the thought of a deal with Detroit without Mantha coming the other way. I'm under the assumption that Winnipeg will do the same.
I get that he wants out and that hurts their leverage a bit but factoring in his age, talent level, style of play and contract, I can't see him being moved for anything less than (at the very least) what Kesler got. |

I don't think he's saying he would, but rather that's the kind of deal they would look for, a massive overpay. |

Kesler didn't get them much though.
A poss #2 center (Cody)
The 24th pick in the draft (St Louis 1st)
Sbisa (2016 2nd and Carrier are worth more). |

That's exactly it though
Kane>Kesler. The deal would have to start with, at the bare minimum, Hodgson, STL 1st, Carrier.
More likely that with multiple teams involved, that's going to turn into giving up a guy like Armia. |

I've always been a big fan of building from within, so I'm happy with what the team has developing.
I don't want Kane on the team (THAT Kane anyways), and I'm not sold that he'll be a guy who is going to put up big number through his career. |

Sure if they were both 1 trick pony's like Hodgson.
I like Hodgson, but Evander Kane is bigger, faster, meaner and has more talent. He's a better player with an attitude problem. |

I never thought I would see a team go up 7-0 in any world cup match, let alone the semi final game on anther teams turf
this was an outdoor soccer game, not a game played in the aud with jim may in goal, correct? - homiedclown

I tend not to go where I'm not welcomed.
A NJ blog about a Winnipeg player seems like a Garth move. |
