I'm reading up on him. He's got some skill. People keep talking about his hands and willingness to play tough.
I mean, Murray could have traded a 7th for any old schmuck. I hate that people are already writing this kid off. He has enough of "something" that TM is interested in developing him.

He has size and as the old saying goes...you cant teach size...
He produced in college. It's not something people usually understand. Scoring in college is low. You don't see many 7-6 games especially in better conferences. This isn't the Q or the O. The NCAA is very defensive driven. Sure he is older but Murray has said he likes players further into their development. Why not get a look see at the kid |

What about picking up Benoit for the blue line? 20 minutes TOI/G last season for Colorado. More points because of where he played, but if it helps keep one of the kids in Rochester/Weber in the press box, I'm for it.
