Toews has never scored more than 76 points in a season, in 2013 thru their first 20 playoff games (Game 3 of the SC finals) he had one goal, yet the Hawks still won the Cup, my two questions are:

Is a career high 76 point player worth 10.8M a year and isn't Chicago capable of winning it all without him?

If I had to choose, I would keep Toews for sure.

As mentioned before maybe they should trade Kane to a bottom 3 team next year at a chance to get McDavid. That would be a win win for both teams IMO but a big gamble.
