I'm easily distracted.

I know it won't stop them but I'm hoping today's blog along with some of the posts last night have people realizing StanBo can't just add a $5mil+ player or two to an already expensive core.

I'm hoping but still have a feeling the shouts for Stan to "get it done now" will continue.

I noticed that some here want Stan to change the basic rules of math in order to be a good GM. I guess he should have traded some core players a couple years ago so the team would have been in better shape.

I just thought of the irony of that - the joke is about the other team keeping salary, while a Wirtz paying the full salary is just part of the story. Times have changed a bit, eh? A Wirtz willing to pay out the cash; who would have thunk it.

It's a head scratcher for me too Mo. I see some guys lobbying for 19 and 88 to get the most $$$ they can and they shouldn't take a hometown discount. I would like the hometown discount but if they get their money fine.

Then in the same post the same guys are all over Bowman to "make it happen" and to "get it done" like somehow the Cap doesn't apply to the Hawks; it's just Stan's inability to go out and acquire some more all stars for another Cup run.

He could always trade 3 assets for a 40 point player. That will help.
