Yeah... Not easy to get home for sure. I work for a hockey company and I'm on the road alot. I get to Spokane and it always feels weird to have to turn around and go back to Cali.
Whitewater is a great little hill. Didn't get to ski much as a kid, but always loved that place. Watching guys eat it down Diamond Drill while on the lift was a favorite.

I mean, really, when have you ever heard a coach say "I don't think we'll make the playoffs, this year is pretty much a write-off due to the other teams being so good. But we'll try hard"?
Those guys are gonna go out there and try to win every game, regardless of the odds, because that's what athletes do. |
