Due to the fact that there's nothing else on television, I've been watching. It's pretty entertaining actually.

So, I'm 56, from Buffalo but moved down the highway to Rochester for work...then fell in love with my now wife...so I'm here for a couple more years..but really want to move to the Sarasota area (love the FL Golf Coast). I've seen it all from the Bills and Sabres..and as you all said, it is a part of oneself even with all the heartbreaks. I just hope these franchises get things right before I'm too old to party in Buffalo when one of them wins a championship!

I've already warned the wife that if either the Bills or Sabres win, I'm travelling to Buffalo for the parade/party.

Does anyone have the scrimmage times, dates and prices. I've been googling it and nothing comes up. A link or just a post telling me would be very appreciated. I'm hoping to go.

I honestly think I'd cry if the Sabres won. I'm very young to act like I'm a know it all but despite not living to see the glory days, I feel like I experienced them through reading about it, watching it, and my dad telling me about it when I was younger. I own season tickets and every time I'd go to a game with my dad when I was like 6, I'd ask him all sorts of questions. And after time learning from him, books, and watching the games myself, I think he'd agree that my hockey knowledge surpasses his. A championship seems like an impossible lifelong dream when it comes to the Sabres. I think it'd be one of the best days of my life if it happened.

i actually couldnt believe how low the contract was. Part of me wishes we could have scooped him up for the rebuild but im content with him being out west and possibly happier on a winning team. We would have most likely had to pay a little bit more than the blues anyway

I saw my first sabres game (and was my first NHL game) in New Jersey back in 2000. Was in fourth grade, and fell in love with them instantly. When I moved to Myrtle Beach in 2004, it only fueled my passion. Since I was the new kid, I just stayed home and watched every game in the 2005-2006 season... What a year to put all my attention into this team. Now 23, and still watch whenever I can! (Even bring my tablet to work during the winter!)
