Its not bad of a team. Should see some improvements. But chances are Stewart and Staff will be traded off before or at the deadline. All depends on how your kids are doing.

It's okay to be bum hurt that a real NHL d-man didn't want to go to Toronto and decided to accept a trade to Buffalo. I'm a bit confused how you're attaching your first thought regarding his post to your second thought about Regier.

But anyway, I agree. I don't even know if it's the type of players he was enamored with. I think he was simply enamored and over valued everybody was the biggest problem. Wouldn't pull the trigger on trades, would sign hapless free agents. At one point, our team was almost entirely homegrown talent, which is a massive issue. I couldn't be more thrilled that management decided Regier was not qualified to lead another rebuild. He began it with a ton of picks and good prospects, but I'd be afraid to see what he would do with it all once they got here.
