I'm not quite as old as Vantel, but like him, I got to see Makita in 1970 before we left La Belle Province, for beautiful BC

The truth about Kane is their is a deal out there if Canucks wanted. Kane would essentially be replacing Burrows this year and Jensen in the following years , and we have Virtanen in the wings. Winnipeg also have a horrible goalie Pavelec @ 3.9 for 3 years.

Salary cap would be an issue on the 9 mil return

Burrows on waivers @ 4.5
Send Markstrom to Comets at 1.2
Include Hansen in the trade @2.5

Lack Jensen Hansen for Kane and a bad contract Pavelec

Burrows on waivers

I liked Ohlund and Salo, but my favourite was Lumme. I can remember Jovo used to give me fits of rage watching him play.
- Makita

Lumme was the biggest puck giver away in Canuck history.

Who plays LW with Bonino and Kassian this year. First one that says Higgins gets a choice of a kick in the nuts or has to read Kaptaans diary the early years ages 1 to 10.

Well I guess it's all subjective, I thought Jovo was the biggest puck giver away in Canucks history.

Shinkaruk plays with Bonino and Vrbata. Vrbata can't compliment the twins 5 on 5, so he'll only be with them on PP1.

Makes you question the 5 mil signing. Someone reported last night Gaunce has looked like the best forward at prospect camp. Wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise

Not really... I didn't like the signing, but if I'm being positive he provides exactly what PP1 needs plus secondary scoring on a north/south 2nd line. I'm fine with that in the short term.

I am on a two year let's wait and see trek. I like most things Benning has done so far . I am trying to be positive and give him a chance.

Yeah, I have no real complaints thus far. I like the vrbata signing. Kinda on the fence about vey. Wish we could have or will get rid of one or two of Hansen burrows Higgy. All in all stoked for next season. Stoked for camp to see some kids play.

Higgins I am definitely in favour of moving.

Burrows I honestly would give him 10 games to prove his worth. If he repeats last year I say to him give me a ten teM list. . If he refuses I put him on waivers see if there are any takers.

Hansen same thing as Burrows.

That's all it would take and would be beneficial for the Canucks to get a return on their player.

Kane would replace Burr and Jensen so it would be nice to say to the Jets Burr Jensen and Lack for Kane.

Would you do Horvat, Jensen, Lack & Hansen for Kane?

I'd do that in a heartbeat, don't think Jets feel the same way as you and I.

Not sure the caliber of talent going to Winnipeg is enough, although I like your tenacity, keep up the good work.

Hey, maybe you could visit his mother and use your charm on her... , to have him request a trade to Vancouver

You're giving up two potential top 6 forwards, a bottom six forward and a starting goalie in a couple years for someone who has only ever got 57 points in a year and has a huge ego?
