Would you do Horvat, Jensen, Lack & Hansen for Kane? - DrChristianTroy
We need to move one goalie and Hansen is neither here not there so those two are add ones IMO.
Kane is better than Jensen so that is a no brainer.
The big question is Horvat. I am sort of not sure on that part. With Bonino Vey Cassels and McCann all in the System I think I would still be ok with that offer. It is a lot but tempting
The other side of me says be patient Virtanen will be here in two years. |

Favourite Canuck Dman of all time: Lumme
Honestly, close to Lumme is probably Ehrhoff as far as the most exciting Dman we've ever had, for his PP and rushing abilities. He was terrific in his time here. I wish we could have brought him back this off season.
My favourite Dman to mock is Dana 'the Slug' Murzyn. How that guy ever got a job in the NHL with his skating, I'll never know. |

Lumme put some great years together as a Canuck.
Mine is still Jovo. I don't think there have been too many D men that could go balls to the walls like him. Monster checks, incredible speed, fists of hammers(ask Deadmarsh), big shot, AND BIG TIMELY GOALS! His loose d play could be excused. They lost an exciting player in the Bure trade but gained one on the back end.

Yeah, Jovo's fighting made him one hell of a player. But if I'm being honest, Bieksa has just been a better version. Even better scoring touch, meaner and a better fighter (though it is less nuclear than Jovo). Bieksa isn't a better hitter, but he is a better all around player. Go figure that I'd ever say that. |

Nuclear... I like that.
There's been many who played a better all round game. I just found Jovo to be a bigger gamer. Huge goals... take over a game, just electrifying. Not the sharpest tool in the shed....
Lumme was the generation when I had just moved to Van from Toronto and was going through the transition of shifting my loyalties. I watched him for a couple of years only.
