That's a legitimate statement, but he was a great player. Can't take that away from him. And he stuck with the Sabres for his entire career. Gotta love that.

A lack of it will often diminish it's value as a criteria for whether so and so was great or not.

For example,
I love Mats Sundin, but the lack of winning in Toronto was so bad that what little winning (playoffs i mean) he accomplished turned him into a folk hero. It was completely ass backwards, for a time they loved him for the wrong reasons and later on hated him for the wrong reasons as well (wanting to go somewhere to win)

Overrated: Drury. I'm not going to take away what he did those two years but fans wanted to write a blank check for a career 3rd like player that never made his wingers better.

Underrated: Miro satan. Had little to work with but still scored consistently AND came up big several times in playoffs.
