Golden beaches, excellent theme-parks, a bonanza of sports teams, a wicked nightlife in Tampa and Orlando, no state income tax and bikini-clad girls everywhere you go! |

Today we learned that having the ohl leading scorer is more impressive than drouin leading the qmjhl last year and finishing only 12 points behind the leader while playing 11 less games this yearAND tyler johnson leading the ahl in scoring last year.
I remember when christian thomas was touted the steal of the draft because of a 50 goal season after his draft year. - rangerdanger94
Yes, I said exactly that and it was my ENTIRE point.
What we really learned is that a Ranger fan can't read and can't back up his opinion with anything more than his assessment of Tampa's prospects potential. |

I think Michael is a very good blogger. This of all started because LJ decided to go home to Cleveland. But Bosh and Wade stayed in Florida with no state taxes. I think if Stamkos really wanted to go home, he would have forced the issue last time. I really think he likes it in Tampa. SY is doing a great job. Tampa has 2 more 1st round picks next year and hopefully that Ranger pick is a top 15. My feeling is that if Stamkos doesn't sign next summer and it drags on closer to the trade deadline, SY will get plenty of value for him. He won't let him go for nothing. I really doubt that it comes to that because he is in a great situation in Tampa. But he will have earned the right to go where he wants in 2 years. |

No question yzerman will trade him before he goes to ufa! But I think he signs 12 million per year for a 8 year term in tampa. Next July yzerman will extend him! |

there's been some serious delusion on this thread from both sides, from Tampa fans under the impression that a single 100-point playoff season means they're now a top-notch franchise to Leaf fans thinking they aren't that far off and that Morgan Rielly is the best player from the 2012 draft (that's quickly becoming a favourite of mine on this site...). but the whole argument about a star coming to play for Toronto, in comparison to Lebron, it amazes me how not a single person, on this site or any other, has picked up on the single crucial difference between, say, a Stamkos going to Toronto and Lebron going back to Cleveland. because as far as i can tell, Stamkos wasn't drafted and developed by Toronto. nor did he play there for several year, lead them to a league final and then leave as a UFA. seems like people are automatically assuming Lebron would have signed with Cleveland had he not been drafted by the Cavs and spent his first 7 years there. he had a real attachment to the franchise. that's why he's going back. |

Well you came out of leftfield didn't you? Are the other 2 Minnesota wild fans out together the woodshed that you had to come in here? - Artyukhin76
Relax man, wasn't trying to slight the team, just saying that the statement is pretty transparent as far as over half the teams in the league are concerned. |
