I think Buff would be best off letting their youth season in the minors.
Do you think Tyler Myers was rushed? If so then hopefully lesson learned.
That said, Buff has a bright bright future, sure it will be painful getting there but out of almost any team I would predict Buff as a shoe in to be most improved in 3 yrs from now. Great moves by your GM in the past year IMHO |

I don't believe he was rushed. He did win the Calder after all. Usually highly talented prospects don't struggle like he has, but I definitely think he's trending in the right direction, starting at the end of the 12-13 season.
If anything, like Murray has said, Myers has been leaned on too heavily. Kind of a cop out excuse to an average fan but maybe it has a real impact on a guy who tends or tended to struggle mentally. His mental game seems to have improved massively though.

Reading the Isles thread, apparently Ho Sang came out wearing #66 and it's got some people up in arms.
Thoughts? |

Comments, not article, and really just wondering what you folks think about it more than commenting over there. |

I agree. If someone like Orr has his number being used all over the NHL, screw Mario's number. |

If I were a prospect, I probably wouldn't do it, just knowing the impression that would create.
As a fan, I couldn't care less. |

What has me upset is that Reinhart has the gall and audacity to wear #23. I'll be outside F'n Center protesting on Tuesday. |

That blog's no longer on the front page, sorry stash, you'll have to get up a lot earlier to make me look bad

I never look at the front page.
It's newer than Dan Petriw's post, so that's weird...but again, I navigate using the icons at the top of the screen, I'm very rarely on the front page (hence why I never cared if the Sabres threads "fell off" of there) |

From what you read about Ho Sang . It fits . He is bold and brash . That's just him . No need to sacrifice him for it.

What about Detroit threads ? They are ready to run Ken Holland out of town . Pretty funny after the long term success that franchise has had . Detroit is just not the destination it once was for free agents. The decay of the city and Joe Louis arena are bigger factors than the GM. |

Looking back a few pages...
A lot of people are debating on Ruhwedel making the team... I think that Pysyk is the most likely to make the group out of the teams..
but I think that McCabe and Risto both have a good chance of making the team with Risto being the next most likely.
Zads is a long shot but boy would he be nice if he pulled it off. |

i believe he publicly stated he was the #1 prospect in the 2014 draft and he should go before anyone.. |

they have a few great players but it seems like they aren't even really talked about.. Detroit Red Wings kind of seems like an after thought now a days |

"What have you done for me lately?"
Answer: not win a championship in six years.
The reality is that Ken Holland was an innovator when the Red Wings were very good. The league has caught up to him. He's still a good General Manager, but the gap has narrowed, and possibly even disappeared. |

i think people figure chad over them because Risto, McCabe and Pysyk are in the long term plans more than he is.. therefore bringing him up a little earlier is not a big deal. let the others fine tune their game while Chad fills out the roster |
