I'm cool with that, as long as it's for decent stretches at a time, and not 2-3 games. Give each guy a 10-game run, including a couple back to back games over the span of the year.

I think Zadorov goes back to London for one more year and the Sabres rotate defensemen like Ristolinen, Ruhwhedel and McCabe in short 5-10 game stints in Buffalo for the #6, #7 spot. Pysyk probably gets that #5 spot.

That doesn't leave much room for the inevitable Injury Bug...so I agree, picking up another veteran depth guy (ideally a two way contract) would not force us to overplay the youngin's. I could see Ristolinen getting about 30-50 games in Buffalo getting mentored by Josh Georges.

Rotate Dmen?.....how does that help their development? If they don't make the team then there's a likely reason(they're not ready), and to rotate them in anyway could stifle their development.....I.e. RushEranko

Isn't Flynn number 65? I'm very interested in seeing how that line performs; definitely a Tim Murray type of line with size, grit, and skill (relatively speaking).

Steve Ott said he was committed to re-signing with St. Louis.

"I wanted to go to St. Louis," Ott said. "That was my No. 1 spot. I told my agent, 'Listen, let's make this work any which way we can.' My heart was already locked up with St. Louis. I'm happy that my family and myself, we're where we wanted to be. That was my No. 1 thing, to be a Blue again." Ott joined the Blues as part of the Ryan Miller trade. He had three assists and 37 penalty minutes in 23 games with them last season.

There's going to be a bunch of guys that have numbers that are already taken on the NHL squad. It's just the number they give them for development camp and has no real bearing for the most part.
