I remember two years ago (I think it was), when they had it on a Thursday at 5 or 6pm, right next to the Concert at the Canal. I thought that was a good idea. Not sure why they don't keep that up.

my guess is myers is not murray's guy
there is a good chance that myers showing up out of shape a few years ago is in the back of murray's mind
murray is going to construct his team and it looks like myers may not be in his plans

That, and, he explicitly said he was not shopping any of them (Myers/Foligno/Hodgson et. al.) but is always listening. Not verbatim, but "If a team is willing to overpay, we will listen."

Those are easy no's from them

Blackhawks aren't giving up saad and taking on myers salary.

Detroit doesn't give up guys like Mantha unless they're dealing for the Weber's of the world

San Jose is contemplating dealing both Thonton and Marleau, trading Couture who was a finalist to make team canada for a risk would get the GM fired.

Philly is an interesting one but I be it would have to be either or with Laughton and Couturier.

Something like Laughton+2015 1st+roster player (cap dump perhaps).

As far as value is concerned, that's not a terrible list. But I don't think all those trades fit the Sabres needs. I mean, if you're going to cough up a top 3 24 yo D, I think you should get some specific pieces. The Detroit offer would be my first choice, followed by Chicago's, but I'd consider swapping out TT if he can't play top line wing. (I don't know a whole lot about him tbh other than his high talent.)
