I'm truly excited by the amount of kids we have in the pipeline. If only 50% pan out we still have a solid team for years to come with 3 additional top prospects at minimum coming next season.

Possler, Larsson, Hodgson, Ennis, Foligno, Hurley, Karabacek & Deslauriers are all young and have top9 potential
We are actually extremely deep at forward
Just need another top talent or two to bring it all together!

I don't listen to them enough to know what is or isn't underrated but from what I have heard, Sudden Death and Insomnia are probably my favorites.

My favs would have to be Armia, Grigs, and Zads (not including Girgs as a prospect), but I'm very intigued by Possler, Baptiste, and McCabe.

Some info on the Sabres 6th round pick, Chris Brown:

While Brown was honored to be taken by the Sabres and can’t wait to play at BC, his next step is the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Green Bay Gamblers.

Brown realizes going to Division 1 college hockey directly out of high school is a major leap. He has been advised by his brother Patrick that playing in the USHL will help make the adjustment to college that much easier.

“Patrick said I should take a year to play in the USHL to grow a little bit and he thinks one year will make a big difference for me while I’m there,” he said.

my guess is myers is not murray's guy
there is a good chance that myers showing up out of shape a few years ago is in the back of murray's mind
murray is going to construct his team and it looks like myers may not be in his plans

Myers was so dominant from the middle of the season on last year. I gushed every time he read the play and intercepted passes in the NZ and then carried play in the offensive zone, dipsy doodled the opposing teams D and creating a scoring chance through shot or pass.

I cringe thinking that hes doing that on the last place team, and we are trading away how dominant he can be on a team that is full of high end talent. Its way too early to give up on Myers now. With Ehrhoff out of the fold, trading Myers suddenly makes our once stacked defense pipeline look shallow again.

Its naive to think Murray wants Myers gone for sure. I see it as more of, what type of overpayment can I fetch for Myers? Can I land a deal from a desperate GM like Darcy got for Vanek?

As far as I know, you are correct. Pominville was another guy that had his choice. He chose the US though.
