My biggest concern would be the issue of racism. The russian super league has been under scrutiny for those kinds of incidents for a few years now, im hoping it doesn't become a major issue in 2018.

Trade him to give him the chance or get him in Rochester.


He's a competent 3rd liner, who's been asked to do to much on a sh!t team, and IMO is a 15/15 guy on a competent team.

I think it will vary depending on teams were facing but... my guess is

DesLauriers, McCormick Flynn (with Mitchel or Kaleta altering in frequently)

Deslaurias is on a one way contract he's staying in the NHL full time next year and personally deserves it.

Not with Dalpe being signed now. Dalpe probably takes his spot.

Mitchell, Kaleta and McMuscle all do too. Flynn, imo, is an NHL player.

Either way, they're going to carry 2 extra forwards, they're going to make a trade or someone who probably doesn't deserve to is going to go to Rochester.

edit: Flynn has a one way also, per capgeek.

I'm not worried about Flynn clearing waivers. I think deslaurier makes Kaleta expendable. Kaleta lands big hits but last few seasons he's hasn't justified a roster spot.
