You mean Easy Star All-Stars (Dub-Side of the Moon or the remixed, Dubber-Side of the Moon.) Their version of Ok Computer, Thriller and Sargent Peppers are worthwhile too. - Crying_Wrestler
Maybe it was them.... I downloaded Dubber and thought it sounded different, maybe I will see if I can find the Dub-Side version.
Thanks for that. |

Ya I just saw that, still a good number if he can earn a spot. Worst case Scenario he spends time in the pressbox if Horvat or Jenson prove they are more ready than him. |

Straight as in the straight razor type. I've no idea what Benning's views are on sexuality (probably prefer not to tbh). |

What do you guys think it would take to get Boychuk out of Bos? They need to move a Dman to clear up space and he is the most likely candidate IMO. He only has one year left on his deal. Would Markstrom be enough? Would it be worth it for Canucks?
If Sestito is sent down and with the Vey signing, money would just work. Bos saves 2 mil and gets a backup goalie.
I definitely like the idea of
Hamhuis Bieksa
Edler Tanev
Stanton Boychuk
Sbisa Webber

They are not going to give Vey up by waiver. They will trade/waive a player thats expendable first. Hopefully they give him a serious look before mothballing him in the press box but I have a feeling he will hold his own and force a roster move.

I don't think Markstrom would be enough. Boychuck is a proven NHLer... Markstrom not. Things are complicated sending Markstrom down plus he wouldnt be too happy with his new team if he was buried in the minors. He would be happy staying here otherwise... which sounds like he's not.
They probably dont want salary so a pick or another prospect would have to be added. Is it worth it? |

If he holds his own I don't think it means a roster move necessarily but would mean that another of the young guys wouldn't have a spot without a roster move. |

I agree wouldn't be enough I said Markstrom and a 2nd in Bruins blog but I doubt that's what the fans want. Not sure how many options the Bruins have though if they want to resign Krug, Smith etc. |

I don't really see them having any interest in Markstrom (they have Rask who plays a large majority of games and they also have Subban and Svedberg in the pipeline). They just need a solid back-up (has Johnson re-signed with them?)]
As far as Boychuk, he would be a great addition. The guy can be nasty and has a canon of a shot. I think he has some fairly significant upside if he were put in the right situation
Edit: How about Bartkowski? seems like a Boychuk lite (and is more of a PM's guy). I'm sure he could be obtained for a reasonable price. Oh, and you gotta love a guy who shows up stoned to his team photo

I had forgotten about Svedberg but Subban for sure is a while away. I think they need Bartkoski at 1.25 per year more than they need Boychuk at 3.4 which is what makes them a good target for discounts. |

doubt the canucks give up a 2nd round pick when they have already given up their 3rd round pick. Only way I see that happening is if they other deals on the backburner that can land them picks for guys like higgins and hansen.... doubt they end up going for much for them though |

Yah, not sure what Herr Doctor's assessment is based on. Lucic is a monster and seems to play the type of game DCT loves, so it's a bit puzzling (and the same appplies to Boychuk)
Herr Doctor, what is the deal here? |

We are trying to get younger, we are giving up 2 players who are just reaching their potential. |
