Do you think that Morin will get a 9-game tryout to start the season, or be back in the QMJHL by early October? - jmatchett383
If the Flyers decide to use option 2 for placing Pronger on LTIR. That could be a way for them to then create the cap cushion needed during the season. Although I have a hard time seeing where the playing time would come from. |

The requisite preseason injuries to 3-5 of our starting defensemen. |

I love how most of the recent Cuban defectors have become all star players. Cespedes, Puig, Abreu, Chapman. The Phillies got the one Cuban who couldn't play. Miguel Alfredo |

Where was Michael Martinez from? He may actually be the worst Phillie ever. And I don't mean that in a non-literal way. He is an absolutely horrendous baseball player. I'd rather have another Adam Eaton on the staff that see Martinez in the lineup. He was just bad at everything in baseball. |

He's ridiculous. These guys come over to the States not knowing any english or having an idea of how to function in a world with capitalism. You'd think the adjustment would be difficult, but they just come over and ball |

The Phillies also came out on the short end with the DiMaggio brothers, the Maddux brothers, and the Brett brothers. |

No! Martinez wasn't good, but he was a bench player who played multiple positions.
Eaton was absolutely awful. He was the world pitcher in baseball from the moment the Phillies signed him to the time they released him |

The only argument in your favor would that Martinez contributed nothing while Eaton contributed negatively. |
