I would give up any prospect not named Travis Sanheim if it meant a proper winger for Giroux and Lecavalier's deal is on the move. - SuperSchennBros

Better Half played the Fibonacci Sequence song for me and I just sat there awestruck and just turned to her afterwards and was like "dis y I liek u" - Giroux_Is_God
Goddamn another amazing outro. Everything from 'Following our will and wind...' to the last note. jesus. Has there ever been a better ending to a hard rock/metal song? No, there hasn't. |

10,000 Days is my favorite so far. I do wish Danny was a little more front and center on it though. It feels like they took Lateralus and shot it with a cannon through Aenima. I can understand not liking it as much as the others. It is sort of a re-hash. I think if it had been an EP that didn't include Wings for Marie and 10,000 Days people would say it's their best.
PS: New Mastodon is pretty great too. - ThirdEye
10,000 days seemed a bit more theatrical to me...I guess it was really the whole Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned songs. Usually those are b-side tunes, or track 69 or something. I like them, but they bump me out of myself for a minute while I recalibrate to the different style. Meh, that's just me. Either way, I'm waiting for some new tunes.
Nice, Mastadon is solid, and I really dig Oblivion. |

Seems about right to me. I like Lecavalier but if the youth moment is now, I'm fine with him going. I'm still unhappy with taking on Umburger at all. He is a good player, I just don't think he's worth his deal either. - SuperSchennBros
I'm in agreement. I was personally damn glad to see Hartnell go, but Umberger? One of my least favorite players. |

I'd call Morin more untouchable than Sanheim right now. - Giroux_Is_God
If Travis Sanheim can become above average in his oen end, I think he becomes better then Morin. |

Amazing video (aren't they all? except Prison Sex.) and great song. Absolutely killer outro. The one thing that stayed constant between Paul D'Amour and Justin Chancellor are that they create the most enormous and emotive outros. All of my band's outros just sort of end in distorting the track. No clue how to write the end of a damn song - ThirdEye

I probably wouldn't move any of our D prospects, especially Morin, because if he can put it all together, with his size, skill, and desire to win/aggression, he could be very good. He's not going anywhere, in my opinion. |

In a second but not happening. Kane for VL, Hagg, Akeson and a 2nd? Or L Schenn, Vinny, Sanheim, Akeson? This is an undervalued dream but dream I will. Not sold on Kane and think his trade value is well below what it should be right now making him unlikely to be traded until mid-season. That said, I would have interest if it meant clearing some of these contracts: Striet, Vinny, Grossman, L Schenn, Umby and a lesser extent AMAC. I don't want to throw those players away for nothing but those contracts are prohibitive and there are a lot of them. |

I'd trade any one of our young defenders if we got a relatively young (< 30) proven top-end defender (Weber, OEL, Suter, etc.). Other than that, unless it's a superstar of the Stamkos/Tavares type, I wouldn't move any of the 4.
So, basically, not moving any of the 4. |

Is a contract that pays market value for a good player a prohibitive contract? |

Check Hawkwind first. I think you might dig some of their stuff. Quite a few of their songs are based upon the Elric stories from Michael Moorcock, if you've ever read them. - wolfhounds
