Gretzky had Semenko and then McSorley . Back then bodyguards did their job. Is it worth exposing him when he can get a year bigger and stronger . What is the rush? We are not a cup contender yet.

Kid has the moves and smarts . Just worried about the physical thing. Back when Gretzky was young , everyone knew better than manhandling Gretzky or you dealt with CementHead. Talk about Scott having no Skills . Semenko made Scott look like Stamkos!

He would be best served in the minors working on his offensive game IMO. As for Sam I dont really care where he lands. I'm sure he'll get his 10 games on the Sabres and then be sent back down.

He certainly would have physical line mates . But in the modern NHL . No one is untouchable.
