Ugh, I wouldn't listen to Stern if that hack paid me.
Usually, I listen to the following:
Deep tracks
Blues
The Grateful Dead station
Ozzy's Boneyard
Classic Rock
All of the above are commercial free and pretty much all music, all the time. - BiggE
Although I grew up with Dead Heads (major East Coast tapers), I was never into them. I've listened to Boneyard (before it became associated with Ozzy) a few times. That and one other station (maybe Lithium) are basically all I can do. Oh, and Hair Nation is total hit-or-miss. |

I cant see that happening. Only if Giroux retires a Flyer. Nobody will beat out Lindros' point per game average as a Flyer. Its top 5 of all-time in the league. - GOA88
Clarke, Lindros and Hexy were my 3 favorite flyers |

Ok would you take this bet? Flyers win more than 1 Stanley Cup in the next 10 years. - mickel25
Nope.
I might take a bet that they'll get one in the next ten years, but only if it's a small dollar bet.

Probably not, I think, well at least hope, they will win one. However any more than that is probably very wishful thinking. |

I'll go with Flyers. Now if you said "Russia starts a war" I would say Russia. |

I don't think world domination can happen today unless we are attacked by aliens and a world government takes over worldwide security.
So, the question becomes: "what will come first... the Flyers win their 3rd cup or we are invaded by aliens?" |

You know, it doesn't really seem that much better. I don't like Stern, and it seems like there's about 4 good rock stations that play 1/4 good songs. How Social Distortion fits on "New Wave" and Jimmy Eat World fits of "Faction" is beyond me. - jmatchett383
I loved Stern in the 80's and 90's but after that he ceased to be funny to me. |

I can't stand NPR. And I did silence for 2 weeks while my radio was dead. Those long drives to Delaware don't do much for you. - jmatchett383

The thing with Lindros was that he was nasty and dirty in how he hit. He had no problem hitting you high or giving you a forearm shiver to the face.
In today's game, he'd spend half of each game in the box. |

I cant give you one player that could completely dominate/take over a game single handedly like Lindros could. Now could others score more points? Sure. But there was never anyone as dominate. (Orange glasses are off BTW) |

I completely agree with this... Guy talks like his opinion is fact, and never gives hockey respect, but thinks the 76ers are the pride and joy of the city/state. |

I don't know what that is, but if it involves a lot of people talking about things and being sponsored by The Math Works, I'm not interested. |

That was the way the NHL was at that time. It was much more physical. |

I don't know if anyone read the plan the organization has for Scott Laughton on the Flyers web site but he won't be making the team unless he is able to get into the top nine. It was admitted that they do not want him in a fouth line role, he will not play wing and as it stands the only way he makes the team is due to injury or a trade is finalized to create room for him. |

I saw Lemieux do it. He'd just take the puck and, if he REALLY wanted to score, there was no way to stop him. He was too big and strong to take off the puck, and he was such a great puckhandler that you could knock it away.
I'd also say that Orr was probably the only other player who would just play on a different plane that everyone else. |
