This guy is so polarizing to me.... everyone else seems to have a clear and easily formed opinion of Doughty. I am still of the mind to just sit back and see if the rest of his missing pieces fall into place. If that happens, He could easily win the Norris a couple times over..

Thats all i thought when i read the title of the blog. Every player has their weak spots, but Doughty is damn good. I dont watch him enough to know any weak spots (and i didnt read the blog to be honest). All i know is the playoffs where he's a maniac machine.

Heh...Doughty is a solid D-man, not really that impressive.

No holes in his game worthy of being detrimental. Just tweaking little things, like ability to be better at keeping the puck in at the blue line (AMart has quite a knack for this) and I wish he didn't drag the puck up so slowly on the PP attack. I get that he's waiting to see what develops or for people to get into positions, but gawd man, at least stride with it a few times...
But as states, eats up minutes for days in all situations against all oponents, has a target on his back most nights, and plays larger when stakes are at their highest...

He's a whiner.

In the playoffs Doughty is on a whole different level, he just plays harder. Frankly there is only 1 maybe 2 defenders I'd want over him.

1. Plenty of things to do in LA. 2. You are correct, we won the cup so we don't have to spend days and hundreds of posts going over our 2C issues or cap issues in the next couple of years because our stars sucked up all the money in the room or wasting time gnashing our teeth about how we're going to get 'me next year. 3. There are other sites where a bulk of "regulars" post much like TOR or CHI or EDM fans post on hb. 4. I believe the cup currently rests with its rightful owners.
