Depends on who is counting the mpg and the context. Is it highway...is it city driving. What kind of petrol one is consuming.

I actually prefer driving. We used to fly for vacation every year, be it Florida or Aruba or California and every time we flew one or both of us would end up sick during the damned vacation

Since 2008 or so, we've pretty much done the East coast. We've done Florida three or four times, DC/Williamsburg once and OBX once. The FLA drive is a bit of a chore, but if planned right and splitting the driving it's not bad at all

i hate flying with a (frank)ing passion. the experience, unless you're going rock star status, awful. i don't mind driving, but the location will pretty much dictate the method of travel.

If you get center ice you may want to try hockeystreams.com. It's online of course & u can stream it with roku. OB recommended it and I loved it. Most AHL amd CHL games are available.

We have a Honda Pilot and it's great for that aspect, though I'd have preferred something bigger

We took an 8 day trip, had 4 suitcases(2 large ones) and several other bags and fit fine in our Chrysler Pacifica, which is basically a glorified station wagon.

My father in law recently got a Toyota Landcruiser...I liked that a lot, but he's got every friggin' extra and paid around $40K.

I got fairly little kids who eat on the way to soccer & softball...I'm not getting something that expensive until they realize they need to put the lid on their damned chocolate milk

Yeah, Central Florida is about the farthest I'll drive. We discussed Toronto, but the kids were not too keen about the GTA. We might do Nashville one year. I'd drive that, too.

Me too. I have an iHome alarm clock with a sleep function. It's glorious.

I've been binging on (pardon my hipsterness) Half Moon Run's album for like the last week or so. I've always loved one of their songs, Unofferable, but never really listened to the album all the way through- or at least never got into it- until very recently great stuff. Kind of Indie/mellow...good stuff would recommend.
