I try to avoid that, I will play about 25 leagues this year
keep 1 spot for waiver wire/bye week kicker/d - homiedclown
Have a dilema on who my other keeper would be. (Are keepers are by the previous round you selected them in. IE player selected in 4th would be a 3rd round keeper)
First is Dez Bryant who is a 3rd rounder (Ive had him for 2 years now)
Second is either going to be Jeremy Maclin or Russel Wilson ( both would require an 8th rd pick) |

if a third rd pick costs a second, there has to be value
I am not sure maclin or wilson would not be off the board when you picked in the 8th
I am in 1 keeper league, you can keep 3, for up to 3 years
I am keeping j thomas in the 15th, k. allen in the 14th and lacy in the 6th
I love that team already |

That's my keeper for this year. It was between him and Jimmy Graham. Decided on Lacy. |

no brainer if there is compensation involved
you can still get graham in the second (50/50 chance)
no way in hell your getting lacy in the second
I think it's a toss up between lacy and calvin for the 5th best player overall

We only do 1 keeper w no compensation....I claimed Martin off of waiver just for a keeper option....but I forgot about Stacey and early reports have him going high in a lot of leagues |

The way I look at it, it doesn't matter where I'm picking. If I keep Lacy, getting Graham in the 1st shouldn't be hard anyway. And if I can't, then someone else just as good is going to be available anyway so it's not really a huge deal. |

Senators fan article (from fansided) regarding trading for Stewart:
" The return for Stewart might include the Senators getting rid of either Colin Greening or Erik Condra and freeing up a forward spot, as well as one of the 8 defensemen on the roster, probably a Patrick Wiercioch or Mark Borowiecki. Tim Murray is familiar with the Senators roster and obviously sees potential and likes what Greening brings because he would have been a primary factor in negotiating the deal that is now an albatross around the Senators’ neck.
If you would assume Stewart and a mid-round draft pick for Wiercioch and Greening, the cash in and cash out for this season would be identical, an important factor for the cash-conscious Senators. The Sens would be lowering their cap hit by $400K this season but the drawback is that Stewart would add to the group of pending unrestricted free agents that already includes Marc Methot, Craig Anderson, Bobby Ryan and Clarke MacArthur."

I like Greening....wiercioch is ok, and no question Murray is familiar w their talent and skill sets..but I don't think the Sabres will move Stewart until the deadline. Nolan like him a lot and according to Paul Hamilton, he is really excited to have Stewart as part of the team. |

Interesting take. I don't know a lot about Wiercioch but I know he needs to work on his skating and strength. He's at a great age. The value here seems to be pretty good for a guy like Stewart. Where's the benefit in trading for Green. Don't we have Johan Larsson? |

Nolan can K.M.A. This is not a shot at you, but i am tired of the Nolan type guy, Nolans way, Nolans kind of hockey. If Murray has a trade that gets the Sabres young roster players in return, then do it. Especially if it helps keep the A team together. |
