just did my first real draft of the year
picked 7th in a 12 team non ppr
qb foles
rbs foster, stacey
wr's calvin johnson, andre johnson
te olson
flex ray rice
D panthers
K prater
bench
michael floyd wr
d williams rb
bowe wr
randle wr
hyde rb
big ben qb
baldwin wr
ertz te
I give it a B+
foster, stacy, foles and rice fell hard and too much value to avoid them - homiedclown
foster should have a bounce back hopefully. stacy and foles are good bets. ray rice is a terrible flex option imo. you picked TE late eh?

So I read a few posts from the regular posters here.
Boggles my mind why people want to run a coach off already before he has even had legitimate shot of turning this team around.
The guy has done nothing but win most places and opportunities he has been given and yet people want him gone already?
If he gets this team "motivated" and turns this ship around and has great chemistry with his players, the last thing I would want is another coach coming in here screwing that all up.
I find it very hard to believe that he does nothing when it comes to x's and o's when it comes to coaching.
I genuinely feel that some have some type of agenda with this man.

It boggles my mind even more how people are down on Grigs, Myers, and Armia. |

Everyone has this demand that 1st round picks need to all be Nathan MacKinnon. Look around the league guys. Most mid 1st rounders from the past 3 years have made no significant impacts to their NHL teams. Especially guys from Europe or NCAA. I can't wait to keep repeating this line, but Grigorenko and Armia improved over the course of last season. Armia, his first year in the AHL, different style of play, smaller ice, started slow with an injury and trying to adjust to the game. As the season went on, he partook in more battles and improved his scoring. He was on fire during the playoffs. Grigorenko has improved on and off the ice with his devotion to the two way game. It's starting to click with him that he is entitled to nothing and must work for everything. He appears to be vastly improved in that area. His two way game has highly improved.
The only thing that is important with both of these guys is continued forward development. I won't be disappointed in the slightest if neither of them see the NHL this year. I do however expect both of them to improve their offense, seeing as that is the reason they are a part of this organization. I'm excited to see them grow. |

floyd will be my flex for the first few games and go from there
taking foles in the 6th put me in a hole, being my first draft, for the year, I let it come to me and took value
in a perfect world, I do not take foles, go shankey and gerhart in the 6th and 7th and wait on qb til 8th
if i cant get gronk or thomas in 5th, I am fine waiting on te
olsen, reed, bennet work fine if get the top 5 I want for the other spots
I am fine with romo or cutler as my starting qb and big ben or daulton as the back up, most are not
the key to my drafts is finding the sleepers for the last 3 picks
last year my last 3 picks were k. allen, cameron and j. thomas
this allows me to grab the better d and kicker before the last 3 rds and ensure they do not mesh on bye weeks
right now my 3 sleepers for this year are hyde, baldwin and ertz or te for lions |

Eh. Disagree. Adam seems to have maxed out as a fringe NHL, great AHL player. Unless he's some real late bloomer that manages to increase his speed by 50%..I just don't see a future for him in blue and gold. |

Oh man. If you're not drafting Seattle's D, those should be your very last picks. D, then kicker. Another tip. Do NOT fear the bye week. |

My favorite is when Buffalo eliminates Tor from playoff contention and he punches the camera. |

I try to avoid that, I will play about 25 leagues this year
keep 1 spot for waiver wire/bye week kicker/d |
