I know nitpicking grammar is against the rules, but this is one really, really, really long sentence. |

Hard to believe Prospal only played 77 regular season games as a Flyer. - five4fighting10

Contend for what? The Flyers were pretty badly outplayed by the Rangers in that series except for game 6 and a few minutes here and there the rest of the series. The Rangers in turn were pretty badly outplayed by the Kings in the finals. If the Flyers are serious about winning the cup and not lucking into one by getting in the playoffs every year, they need to start comparing their team to the giants out west, Chicago and L.A. Under that comparison, the Flyers are a long long way off from contending and any one defender, even Weber isn't going to change that. - psuhockey
The Rangers lost 3 games in OT... Badly outplayed by Kings... I don't know about that. The Flyers lost in game7, by 1 goal. The Rags were the more D responsible team but maybe another year under Berube the Flyers will better.
I would not say they are favourites to win it, but their core is solid and they do have a legit goalie to now compete. |

I like to write long run on sentences without using any types of punctuation on breaks because that way my thoughts are very easily conveyed and then everyone is happy because they can easily read it and then we can have a good discussion on the topic what do you think! |

YOU NEED TO END THAT SENTENCE WITH A PERIOD OR AN EXCLAMATION POINT!
I NEED TO USE PROPER CAPITALIZATION!
Edit: Grammar and spelling are one thing. But one long run-on sentence (or, in this case, a plethora of sentences) without any form of punctuation makes the thought incredibly hard to read and comprehend. |

The Rangers lost 3 games in OT... Badly outplayed by Kings. - 3flyerkids
After spotting the Rangers a two goal lead in game 1 and 2, the kings absolutely dominated possession against the Rangers the rest of those games. Without Lundqvist, those games don't make it to overtime. Much like the Flyers game 7 which if Mason doesn't stand on his head in the 2nd period, the Flyers lose that game by 3-4 goals.
I am not a fancy stat guy, but it is pretty obvious when a team is dominating possession and thus the much better team regardless of the actual score. Relying on a goalie to play out of his mind like Mason did against the Rangers is not a great plan for cup success. |
