OK but realistically we have like 15 forwards now who could possibly play. Lapierre, Porter, Muller, Lindstrom, Paajarvi etc. Who's in who's out - Yeah Boyes
I dont think Lindstrom will make the cut, unless he has grown leaps and bounds over the last couple of years, he is not an NHL player, he sucked with his handful of games stint with the Avs. |

My lines are
20-26-42
17-12-91
74-21-Lindstrom
40-9-75
mueller
MPS
Porter
I feel Lapierre and Porter will share time on the fourth line.
MPS and Mueller will be in Chicago or scratched |

I dont want Ott on the third line I would be ok with Mueller MPS or Lindstrom but if Lindstrom doesnt make the team he will be going back to Europe.
That would leave MPS Mueller and Porter for one spot |

I still don't know about Lehtera centering the 2nd line. Even though he has chemistry with Tarasenko, I would expect to see stastny centering the 2nd line. Makes more sense to me then having a scenario with Lehtera on the second line. I mean do you really see Oshie in our bottom 6 BC I sure don't |

What I read about Lindstrom after the signing was that the Blues were really high on him so I can see him makign the team regardless. Its a different story of how he plays during the season, if he struggles or not.
I see Maggie making you guys, give him some ice time and let him grow. At the very least it showcases him as trade bait.
You guys have such a deep team its goign to be tough to make up with you next season |

Leopold, Lapierre, and Berglund can go too as long as we are taking out the trash. |

I know, we lose stastny and boom we are done for the year, the lightning and coytoes blogger said we would do worse than that Flames.
Only way to improve on last season is to win the West, yeah I dont think thats happening so you dont have to be a hockey guru to say we will regress.
Team will still be competitive and fight for a playoff spot. Still have all the guys who got them to the playoffs last year. - DDM-Coga
Your offense should still do fine with duchene and mackinnon powering it. You lost some crucial depth when you lost stastny but tanguay will be back healthy.
Really I think it was mostly your defense that overachieved a bit last year. Johnson will still be good and barrie should develop more offensively but I just get reminded of the islanders when they made the playoffs after their team played amazing team defense for much of the season, then impdoved on paper in the offseason, and then just couldnt get that consistency back the following season
You guys are much better coached and varly should be a lot better than what the isles had going last year though. |

Blues will win the Central this year and hopefully not flame out in the first round of the playoffs.
The biggest key to who wins the central for me, unforutnately is the shootout.
Chicago continues to struggle in the skill event and St. Louis wins just enough to get the number one seed in the Playoffs. - sycsam
And it's ALL on Q. I like Q, but man, he gets so goofy constantly changing things up, in the shootout (and on the PP).
FIRST THREE SHOOTERS:
Toews
Kane
Hossa Who always goes wide right, comes back and blasts a slapper where he sees an opening, no trickery, but it often works
THEN
Shaw
Saad
Sharp (if he's still around) |

I think it will be yet another tight race in the central but only the blues and Hawks in it this year no Avalanche.
Avalanche will probaby finish third followed by Dallas and Minnesota and all five will be playoff teams again. |
