The other illegal goal was the Nystrom OT goal which was offsides according to several Flyers players.
The Oilers players should have been suspended and jailed not competing, and if I was betting on which of the other players dabbling it would have been the guy scoring the killer goal in game 7 who also had someone die in his pool over the next 2 years adn went through some weird divorce stuff as well.......

Let's be honest, he's a decent side show but we're wait for Jsaq and MJL to continue their stat discussion. It's the summer of discontent. - mayorofangrytown
shockingly, jsaq restrained himself from replying to the last reply. i was kind of hoping it would continue. but not really. |

Back in the day when the toaster broke you made toast over the gas burner by putting a fork in it like you would a marshmallow at a camp fire. - mayorofangrytown
Back in my day we had to walk 5 miles up hill both ways to get a loaf of bread from the local baker. And slice it ourselves! |

Outside the first 7 games of the season which were obviously a disaster, the Flyers had a pretty good record all things considered, and lost in the playoffs to the Eastern champs. Why are they supposedly this borderline team that has gotten worse and will have no younger players step up and be better than last season? - eayost
BECAUSE HARTNELL! THAT RUINED EVERYTHING!!!! |

Okay, so far it's the defense sucks and the forwards are tired from helping out the sucky defense. Do I have that right? - MJL
Mostly. I would go further and say that the Flyers as a whole just hang on by a thread defensively and Mason is usually left to make an incredible save(s) to keep them in it on most nights. |

In a bad way. I'll take real Apple Pie everyday. They shouldn't even be allowed to call it Apple Pie flavored. |

I would have been surprised if Hartnell went full on emo like Carter did.
I suspect, like when Carter and Richie left, there are some sad bartenders in the city, however. |

Well I think there is some hyperbole there, same as saying the defense sucks. But who is responsible for when the team is hemmed in and hanging on by a thread? Is it just on the defenseman, or on the team as a whole?

No I dont think Nanne was involved in this at all
But Mr Anderson ( in my best voice from the Matrix) not to be confused with Neo
At the risk of being totally politically incorrect he got into a fight with someone at a faceoff when they called out his personal preferences for intimacy. Might have sticked someone in the face (the hockeystick) |
