I wouldn't say Giroux is a lock yet, but I would say he's damn close. Timonen is a lock though.
Edirt: I think a lot of it has to do with longevity. We all probably thought Richards was a lock. - PhillySportsGuy
Richards would have been, if he was still here, but yeah, I hear what you are saying. Heck if they win the cup in '10 Richards, Pronger and Briere would all be locks. |

Unless he completely falls apart or is traded in the next year or 2, I can't see Giroux not getting in. - BiggE
Yeah. I edited my post above. I agree. |

Didn't Beane just trade their # 3 hitter for a 2 month rental? If the A's don't win the World Series, he's going to look stupid. They aren't re-signing Lester. - PLindbergh31
Josh Donaldson is their #3 hitter. Despedes has a WAR of 1.9 this year. His OPS is under 800. A's have multiple players with an OPS over 800. |

Recchi's numbers as a Flyer:
Games: 602
Goals: 232
Assists: 395
Points: 627
Pretty sure that averaging over a point per game coupled with having played 600+ games will get him in the Flyers HOF |

Also Cespedes is a butcher in the OF, with a noodle arm.
When Lester re-signs with the Red Sox after the season Beane will look like a court jester. |

Well take a look at the guys from the cup teams that are in. All I'm saying is that if they win a cup, and Coburn is playing on the top pair, and has been here for nearly a decade, he will likely end up in the Flyers HOF |

Great player.....complete scumbag...doesnt deserve to be in the Flyers Hall. It stems from the Bill Barber Mutiny....I ve seen MOAT explain the situation before and he has a great handle on it, BO does as well. Hopefully, he has his rift saved and can copy and paste it |

I like Recchi but the ease in which players make it into the HOF is pretty weak. |

So youre saying he gets in on a technicality more than he would for his actual skill. Cause his performance does not justify HOF. AT ALLL |

New Topic: Which current Flyers end up in the Flyers H of F
I'd say:
Locks: Giroux, Timonen
If they win a cup while he's still here: Coburn
if they play here long enough: Couturier, Voracek
On the bubble: Simmonds
Also if he stays here for a few years and they win a cup with him: Mason
thoughts? - BiggE

Somewhat, though I think people underrate Coburn. He plays the hardest minutes of any Flyers dman each and every game. He gets a lot of heat around here, but take him off the team and they would be worse, a lot worse IMO. |
