A little bit of a timeframe speculation for the Bills sale. Here's hoping it happens by then:

Morgan Stanley, the bank overseeing the sale on behalf of Wilson's estate, could have the franchise's new owner lined up by the end of August, in time for NFL owners to vote on approval at the league meetings in October.

More Bills bidding stuff. This one's interesting, shows hoe Bon Jovi would have to pony up a LOT of money to be majority owner:

The problem for Bon Jovi stems from his desire to be the majority owner of the Bills in conjunction with the NFL’s rules about the majority owner’s contribution. Those rules state that the majority owner must provide at least 30% of the franchise purchase price. That would mean of the estimated $1.2 billion total cost of the team, Bon Jovi would need to provide about $300 million in cash–about 60% of his reported total net worth. In addition to this issue, NFL ownership rules also cap the borrowing amount at $200 million. That’s a high percentage for a potential owner not relying on his own finances.

Agree.

I was kind of wondering what this/that is all about.

Hey guy wanted some advice. Its keeper day for my league. I get to keep up to 5 with a $200 budget. Three of them I think are easy, a 4th is so so and the 5th is tough. What do you think?

Russell WIlson 18
Jamal Charles 50
Danny Woodhead 1
Kennan Allen 1
Jason Witten 9
CJ Spiller 51
Reggie Wayne 20
Danny Amendola 15
Steveie Johnson 5
Denarius Moore 3
Ryan Tannehill 1

Think WIlson, Charles,Allen are locks. The 4th may be Amendola but the 5th is tough as you get into bad potential value. Have Spiller who I got too expensive and can probably get much cheaper the second go around.

Amendola is right at that price point where you could possibly get him cheaper, but would it be worth the risk.

Stevie Johnson might not be a bad keep for $5.

Care to share the Kim petulant/ patty l story?
- Da_Cashman

Nothing much. Just a few rumors around that whatever the rift between the Sabres and LaFontaine was, some of the problem had to do with Kim's involvement in the team. I don't know if he thought she had too much say or what.

The little bit that I know of is about both Patty and Pegula put themselves into a tough place. Both of them were a bit out of line and there really was no good solution to it.

was thinking that as well, Amendola may be worth the risk and $15 wont break the bank. Stevie may be a better risk reward at $5 so thats a very good point and save myself 5 bucks.
FIgure guys like Ellington and Stacey I may be able to get both for the 60 bucks id save from not keeping spiller/amendola.

Is it PPR? Keeping Russ Wilson would depend on who else is available in your league. I would keep Charles, Allen, & Woodhead if PPR and save a few bucks to spend on a QB that has decent Fantasy Value.

I'm having a tough time figuring out who I should keep for my league this year. Originally, I was leaning toward Lacy, but I also have Demaryius Thomas and Jimmy Graham, both of who were #1 for their positions in my league last year.

Its a passing league and these Defenses are getting so fast and hit so hard that keeping Lacy over one of those other guys seems really risky.
You have arguably the 2 best players at their positions you can keep or one that is maybe the 5th or 6th best RB.

ID keep both and trade one if you can. Frustrating for me is i'm in three leagues and all the good young players were in my non keeper league.

DO you only keep one?
Figure Lacey will go top 5 so i'd go that route and one of the two TE would be there in the 1st early 2nd most likely

PPR

luckily the commish is spending me who has been listed as keeper. So I should know soon better what will be out there.

Also, get to keep 5 players thats why I figured to keep Wilson so I have a QB in place

I figure I'll be able to get one of the guys I don't keep anyway. Technically I've had Graham 2 years in a row because I kept Foster last year (big mistake) and then drafted Graham in the 1st round. We can only keep one guy. If Julio Jones didn't get hurt, I'd have him to choose from too.

thomas is going late first early second, same for graham

lacy is going top 6

to be honest, I have been drafting 6th in a lot of mock drafts and going lacy with the first pick, and coming back with thomas or green with the second pick

Charles, Whitten Woodhead and Allen

throw the rest back

only way I keep Wilson at that price is if it's a 2 qb league

Don't know yet. I might make everyone wait to find out who my keeper is until I know where I'm drafting. I just might be that person this year.

Im almost leaning on only keeping Charles Woodhead Allen. Great value on Woodhead and Allen. Witten think I can get for same price or get a better player for a little more.

There seems to be a bunch of good players that will be available.
Wilson I think I can let go. One person even suggested keeping tannehill at a buck he will play all 16 games and allows to grab all of the top available players.

most leagues figure out the draft order before the keeper deadline is over

My Keepers are Bryant and Maclin right now in a PPR league. I am going WR in Rd 1. I pick 7th and hoping A.J Green is still there.
