I'm watching the 1980 Olympic US versus the Soviets game. Watching it, and listening to Dryden's commentary on Tretiak, I'm absolutely convinced that Tretiak got hammered every night during that tournament.

like buff19 just said, far too many variables to make that call now but,

based on what we know of him and of next years draft class I'd say "maybe". I think he'd go somewhere between 5-10 depending on how good of a season he'd have this year and his WJ tournament performance.

I would argue that he had a breakout year last year. I am also a Broncos fan and I saw him play in the pre-season and knew he was going to be a stud with Peyton. He's a top-3 TE for sure this season.

My problem isn't necessarily with the contract. It's how this entire thing was handled by their management team. They probably could have had him at friendlier cap hit if they didn't spend so much time trying to prove they didn't need him.
