Playing in the GTA would require a new stadium, and the federal and provincial governments are adamant that they will not kick in a dime to get that done. You may sucker an outlying municipality to kick in a little dough or perhaps some municipal tax breaks, but that isn't going to get it done.

So you are left with seat licenses and paying out of your own tight black rocker jeans to pay for it.

Sorry, but you are livin' on a prayer if you think that it makes financial sense to shell out $1.3 billion for an NFL team, and then be on the hook for building a new stadium with your own cash.

What basis did you derive this from. Last team was in 2002 and it was the texans and just the texans. Before that it was browns and only browns in 1999. So I'm not see where u got that from

Previously before that: 1995 - Jacksonville and Carolina. The Browns (and also the Texans if you think about it) were a special case. That was a matter of righting a wrong that never should have taken place to begin with. Houston later came in to even things out.

Browns in 1999 were to fix the public nightmare of them losing their team. But it made scheduling a nightmare. A team on a bye every week, even weeks 1 and 17.

Houston in 2002 fixed that issue.

If they expand again, it will be 2 or 4 teams.

Can't see it happening either. I have a feeling they will expand very soon i just don't think they'll be that ambitious.
